Nicolas Marinelarena has had a lifelong obsession with both music and technology. Originally from Mexico City, he moved to Boston four years ago to attend Berklee College of Music. While at the College, he specialized in the development of alternate methods for musical performance. With an ease for understanding programming environments and a mindset geared towards artistic endeavor, he strives to design performance systems that are as engaging visually as they are sonically. In his way of thought, there is no reason to believe in the dominance of one brain hemisphere over another, and his work reflects his strong conviction. His enthusiasm for making music drives him to create intelligent, engaging and interesting ways to play his compositions.
