Morgan Evans-Weiler is a composer, violinist, improviser, electronic musician, sound artist, visual artist, and teacher currently living in the Boston area. He works to explore not only the realm of sound, but also the means of how we produce sound. Not so much interested in the answers, he is more interested in the questions that arise from endless experimentation. He uses relatively traditional instruments, but tries to use them in the least traditional way. He programs electronic music using PureData and Supercollider, improvises using multiple bows, paintbrushes and other accessories on his violin and composes using abstract means.
