He has collaborated w/ a number of musicians throughout the globe {Keiji Haino, Kevin Drumm, Wayne Rogers} performing experimental music, free jazz and noise, releasing a number of recordings in the process {RRR, Twisted Village, Freedom From}. He constantly seeks to push the boundaries of the trumpet and of 'music'. He is the Minister of Fanfares for the Kingdoms of Elgaland-Vargaland.

"Kelley's aptly named Trumpet seems to be at the core of a debate over the acceptable boundaries of what 'music' might or mightn't be." - Scott Hreha
